Lana Wilde
President

Lana Wilde, CEO and founder of Mountain Home Care graduated from North Greenville University and continued her studies at the University of South Carolina. Lana's passion for helping people and advocating for clients was the driving force that led her to create Mountain Home Care. Her role as Chief Administrator also allows her to collaboratively find solutions for families on a daily basis.
Lana's greatest joy is the peace she sees in her clients' eyes when they understand that their loved one is being well cared for, in their home, by people that feel and act like family. Along with her passion for helping her clients, she also participates on various boards and committees that emphasize the care of senior citizens. In her free time, Lana enjoys being involved with the choir at her church, Arden Presbyterian Church. She also enjoys Spin Class, gardening, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Jim Wilde
Executive Vice President

Jim holds a degree from the University of South Carolina in business administration and is an Army veteran. He has a strong background in Human Resources and worked as Vice President of Sonopress (now Arvato Digital Services) for many years, eventually leaving to join the family business. In addition to Human Resources duties, Jim advises, interviews and is involved in administration and organization development.
Jim is an avid hiker and has completed more than 450 miles of the Appalachian Trail. Family comes first in his life. He is married to Lana and they have 2 sons and 5 grandchildren.
Jason Wilde
Vice President, CFO

Jason graduated from University of South Carolina with a business degree. He also has an MBA from Western Carolina University. Jason oversees recruiting of potential caregivers and handles everything from the scheduling of initial interviews to turning employees over for the orientation process. Jason is also the “go to” guy for all things technology related in the office. He is involved in various non-profits and is the upcoming 2017 president of the Hendersonville Rotary Club.
Jason and his wife Diane have 3 children. He enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking and particularly cycling, once having been president of the Blue Ridge Bicycle Club.
Angie Ballard

Angie is a native of North Carolina, born and raised in Lenoir. A graduate of Lenoir-Rhyne University, she is an honors graduate from Winston-Salem State University with a BS in Nursing. Angie also holds a BA in Sociology and a Masters in Divinity. As Mountain Home Care Director, Angie brings over 20 years of critical care, geriatric, pediatric and home health nursing experience to her management of all clinical operations as well as her involvement in the business and marketing aspects of the company.
Angie and her husband Stephen reside in Arden and are the parents of four children. In their free time, she and Stephen enjoy working out, hiking, mountain biking and exploring the beautiful mountains of western North Carolina.

Janet Armstrong

Janet holds a bachelor’s degree from UNC Chapel Hill, and has been a Certified Case Manager for 10 years. She works directly with clients and is a Care Manager for Humana. Janet loves being with clients and helping them to stay well and independent. She and her husband Ron are glad to back in Asheville, (Janet’s hometown). They enjoy the beauty of the mountains while spending time with family and the many friends who like to come visit.
